ABSTRACT
The article reports that the interest of farmers in Germany in growing rapeseed has been affected by cheaper oil and a federal tax on biodiesel. According to Georg Dierschke, managing director of the association of renewable raw materials producers in the state of Hesse, biodiesel accounted for up to 50% of the sales of rape growers.
