Asian rubber demand hots up

The article reports that major butadiene rubber (BR) manufacturers are anticipating a price increase for March 2007 cargoes due to the rise of Asian natural rubber prices and an anticipated increase in demand in the second quarter of 2007. BR producers have seen an increase in spot enquiries for March cargoes. Major butadiene rubber producers in Asia include Kumho Petrochemical, Taiwan Synthetic Rubber Corp. and Gaoqiao Petrochemical.
