ABSTRACT
The article reports on the selection of Amec to create the engineering design for offsite and utility facilities at the coal-to-chemical project of Shenhua Ningxia Coal Group in the Ningxia Hui region of northwest China. The complex will produce polypropylene using Novolen technology and will include a coal gasifier plant, a methanol unit and a methanol-to-propylene unit.
