ABSTRACT
The article presents news briefs in the chemical industry in Asia. Singapore's non-oil domestic exports in January rose by 11% year-on-year after a decline of 14% in December. China's Shanxi Province will begin a $3.9bn (€3bn) environmental protection program in Hay. ICI India is to sell its Advanced Refinish (2K) paints business to U.S.-based PPG Industries for around £6m ($11.7m).
