ABSTRACT
The article reports that Givaudan's operating profits rose year-on-year in 2006 on the back of sales growth for flavours and fragrances. Operating profits came in at Swiss francs (Swfr) 514m ($415m, €316m), up from Swfr513m in 2005. Group sales were 4.7% higher at Swfr 2.9bn, with fragrance sales up by 8.2% at Swfr 1.22bn and flavours sales up by 2.4% at Swfr1.69bn.
