The article reports that Dwory posted an operating profit of Polish zloty (Zl) 37.3m ($12.6m, €9.6m) for the fourth quarter of 2006. This contrasted with an operating loss of Zl23.8m, recorded by the Polish synthetic rubber company for the fourth quarter of 2005. Erste Bank noted that revenues, up 20% year-on-year to Zl286.9m, were boosted by a "positive surprise, which was the very significant growth of expandable polystyrene prices which grew by 35% year-on-year."
