ABSTRACT
The article reports on the move of Canada's Government to launch an initiative challenging the industry to manage chemicals safely. The challenge follows the announcement late in 2006 of the government's Chemicals Management Plan, which is aimed at regulating chemicals that are harmful to human health and the environment.
