The article reports on the selection of Johnson Matthey as a supplier of methanol technology to Baotou Shenhua Coal Chemicals and catalysts for its 1.83 million tonne/year coal-based methanol project in Baotou, Inner Mongolia. Johnson Matthey subsidiary Davy Process Technology will supply the technology, and Johnson Matthey Catalysts the methanol synthesis catalysts.
