ABSTRACT
The article deals with the prediction by Verband Der Chemischen Industrie (VCI) that the German chemical industry will continue to grow in 2007. VCI is sticking to its prediction despite evidence that the cycle peaked in the third quarter of 2006. Although prices fell in the fourth quarter, VCI said all prices are still higher than the prices in 2005.
