ABSTRACT
The article offers tips on the different ways of preparing French toast. For a low-fat version, it is best to use egg whites and skim milk in place of whole eggs and whole milk. For convenience, the bread must absorb the egg mixture overnight in the refrigerator. Flavor extracts such as almond, orange or rum can be added to the egg batter.
