ABSTRACT
The article reports on the research conducted by Analysys which found that revenues from mobile instant messaging, email and MMS services will increase dramatically over the next five years. The report predicts that revenue from mobile messaging will reach 26.1 billion British pounds in 2010. The research firm predicts a fall in SMS revenue while the outlook for messaging as a whole is positive. Analysys points to increased competition between operators as the reason for falling prices and per person revenues.
