ABSTRACT
The article offers information on various companies that expand their collaterized debt obligations (CDO) in East Asia. One is Trust Company of the West company which open its doors to a group of Chinese investors who are interested in learning about CDO management. Cohen & Co. has also announced its expansion into Asia with the opening of Cohen Asia company. However, an Asian asset manager said that the introduction of CDO to the East will be difficult for it is not known to regulators.
