ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the induced cooperation formed between investment bankers and debt capital market (DCM) teams in the U.S. It is manifested by several companies which have reorganized their financial institutions group (FIG). Erich Mauff, DCM head at Deutsche Bank AG, claims that the integration of DCM and FIG is a critical issue in persuading other clients. Jorge Calderon, FIG head at Deutsche, likewise believes that hedge funds are probable clients by FIG and DCM in the future.
