ABSTRACT
The article provides information related to time codes in the motion picture industry. Time code is frequently referred to as the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers/European Broadcasting Union Time Code. The time code is important in modern computer controlled video editing systems as it enables each frame on a video tape to be accurately located, enabling frame accurate editing to be achieved automatically.
