ABSTRACT
The article reports on the plans of Klaussner Furniture Industries Inc. (KFI) to close its upholstery plant in Bruce, Mississippi. KFI will consolidate operations to its facilities in North Carolina. Scheduled for completion by April 27, 2007, the closing affects 117 employees. The company said that this move is part of its mission to remain competitive and to provide employees with more consistent work.
