ABSTRACT
The article reports on the financial performance of Fall River, Massachusetts-based Quaker Fabric Corp. (QFC) for the fourth quarter of 2006. QFC disclosed losses of $12.9 million in the fourth quarter and $37.6 million for 2006. Due to restructuring and the decision to write down the value of assets, the company claimed to lose $5.5 million in the fourth quarter and $17.4 million for the year excluding one-time charges.
