ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the animation journal "Animator." The magazine features news items, book and film reviews, studio reports and equipment news in animation. A study on Cosgrove Hall Productions was included in its autumn 1986 issue. The journal is technical and up-to-date to cater to the professionals but is also quirky and chatty to attract readers who have only mild interest in the subject. It features a mini flip book found on the bottom right hand corner of the pages.
