ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the Schoenberg Lecture of Richard Taylor, managing director of Quantrel Ltd., entitled "Creative Digits" on November 6, 1986 in Great Britain. The lecture talks about the use and abuse of image manipulation and electronic graphics. Taylor is responsible for the design of the electronic graphics and effects system including Paintbox, Harry and Encore, and Quantrel Digital Production Center. He was concern on the production that needs complicated electronic effects.
