ABSTRACT
The article reports that only a few seniors decided to switch Medicare drug benefit plans for 2007 in the U.S. According to a study conducted by the Kaiser Family Foundation and the Harvard School of Public Health and released in December 2006, overall satisfaction with the Medicare Part D drug benefit remains high although a large majority of enrollees feel that the plan structure is too complicated. The study also found that many beneficiaries are getting medications from sources other than their Part D plan, including free samples from their doctors.
