ABSTRACT
The article discusses late 2006 sales within the information industry. John Wiley & Sons purchase of Blackwell Publishing has librarians concerned about journal and license prices. Reuters's share of Factiva was purchased by Dow Jones; it will be the centerpiece of the restructured Dow Jones Enterprise Media Group. Cambridge Information Group purchased ProQuest Information and Learning and combined it with its CSA subsidiary, which may open up new markets for them.
