ABSTRACT
The article reports that Old Spice is a brand which goes back to the 1930s, and Wieden + Kennedy of Portland has chosen to embrace this in its first campaign for the Procter & Gamble Co. brand, which was previously at Saatchi & Saatchi Co. PLC of New York. A spot for the deodorant is scripted almost verbatim from a 1983 commercial, but the new version features a soft-focused girl with a French accent cavorting with her Old Spice man.
