ABSTRACT
The article discusses the state of information technology in 2007. The author notes that the year is unique in that while the number of network supplier decreases, technical and service options available to end users is expanding. While technology is continuing to evolve extremely rapidly, enabling information technology officers to exercise more options for networks and communications than ever before, the fundamental issues that affect the business remain unchanged, which can have a greater effect than any technology.
