ABSTRACT
The article reports on the immediate availability of a field programmable gate-array (FPGA)-based personal computer interface (PCI) graphics intellectual property (IP) core for automotive and industrial display applications announced by Altera Corp. and TES Electronic Solutions. Both companies said that they developed the core to address the growth in popularity of automotive and industrial display applications. Japan will grow from $2.9 billion in 2005 to $5 billion by 2013, based on the forecast from Strategy Analytics.
