ABSTRACT
The article reports on a patent infringement lawsuit filed by LG Electronics against TTE and TCL Holdings in the U.S. District Court in the Eastern District of Texas. LG Electronics accused TTE and TCL of misusing intellectual property that allow multiple formats to be played on flat-panel display. Other patents in questions include a technology that makes it easy to unpack a television, plug it in, and use it with any set-top box or service.
