ABSTRACT
The article reports on the financial performance of Broadcom Corp. in 2006. Its revenue for the fourth quarter was at $923.5 million compared to the $820.6 million during the same period in 2005. The stock options problems of the firm did not affect its net revenue as it posted an increase of 37.3% from 2005. According to president and chief executive officer (CEO) Scott A. McGregor, the company also increased its cash and marketable securities by over $900 million.
