Ciba teams up on organic electronics

The article reports on the plan of CIBA Specialty Chemicals to collaborate in the development of organic electronics with the VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland. The project focuses on novel materials and processes for printing organic electronics, and is financed by Finnish research funding agency Tekes. Ciba said that organic substances are better than inorganics in printing applications but current technology allows only low throughput.
