ABSTRACT
The article introduces several vehicles to meet the requirements for aircraft fire protection of small airports in the U.S. The Texarkana Regional Airport has purchased the E-ONE Titan 4x4 ARFF, with a Snozzle articulating boom nozzle. At the Inyokern Airport in Southern California, they operate a Rosenbauer Panther 4x4 ARFF. Meanwhile, at the Spirit of St. Louis Airport in Chesterfield, Missouri, they purchased a Ford F-550 4x4 twin-engine unit.
