IFE to Expand Ranks with CFODs

The article reports that the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFEs) and the Center for Public Safety Excellence agreed to allow U.S. chief fire officer (CFO) designees to be recognized as IFE members. CFO designees are advised to submit an abbreviated application form to be reviewed and endorsed by the IFEs' branch membership committee. Assessment panel will make the final review at IFE headquarters. Applicant may receive an IFE certificate and Membership of the IFE (MIFireE) grade designation.
