ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the collections of Spiranthes magnicamporum in Decatur County, Tennessee. The documentation of this generally midwestern U.S. and south-central Canadian species is the first from the state. The species found in Western Valley limestone hill barrens are commonly associated with herbaceous communities of the Great Plains that are rare adjuncts in Tennessee, including Liatris cylindracea.
