Real Time is Important but Data Integration is the Top Priority

The article presents a research concerning the necessity of having the real-time access to pertinent data. The research concludes that the real time access is important but data integration is the top priority in database management. Real-time access to data is emerging as an important capacity, according to a proprietary study conducted by Unisphere Research (UR). In UR's research, 248 data management professionals, or 29 percent of the respondents claimed that the real-time access to data was extremely important. Nearly 41 percent tabbed it, as slightly important to have.
