ABSTRACT
Gyrocarpus americanus Jacq. is reported for the first time from Mexico, where it grows in the coastal area of Oaxaca: comments are included about its distribution. Sparattanthelium amazonum Mart. is reported for the first time from Oaxaca, where it grows in the region of the Chimalapas.
