ABSTRACT
The article discusses the efforts of wireless telecommunication providers to develop traditional advertisements. Changes in the advertising polices of Verizon Wireless, Cingular Wireless and T-Mobile U.S.A. are discussed. Competitive advantages of traditional advertisements against wireless ads are discussed. Challenges encountered by advertising firms in marketing telecommunication services using wireless and traditional media are also discussed.
