ABSTRACT
The article reports that Mack Trucks Incorporated's MP engine series and Volvo Trucks North America's new D11, D13, and D16 engines were certified by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to meet the new emissions requirements for January 2007. Mack is using a combination of exhaust gas recirculation technology and a diesel particulate filter to satisfy the new standard.
