ABSTRACT
The article reports that Fairmont Hotels & Resorts has purchased an equivalent of 116 megawatt hour of wind power through the Pembina Institute in Canada. The energy is used to power 249 computers used by the hotel to check in guests at its properties in North America. This move allows Fairmont Hotels & Resorts to reduce 100 tons of greenhouse gas annually.
