Some in the sports industry are calling the blend of mainstream skate and urban style, skurban. Skurban crossover athletic brands like New Era, Zoo York, and The Infamous Black Sheep Brand have recognized the emerging trend, core consumers, and the hip-hop influence on skateboarding.
