The article focuses on the author's view regarding the impact of family caregiving on the health of a caregiver based on the continued medical research in the U.S. She said that the conference entitled "Family Caregiving as a Public Health Issue" in Washington, D.C manifests that there is a negative effect of family caregiving on the family caregiver's health and well-being. Fortunately, a National Family Caregiver Support program is created to support Area Agencies for caregiving services.
