ABSTRACT
The article discusses the benefits of investing in a diversified high-quality portfolio of stocks. Reinvesting dividends within Individual Retirement Account could earn greater returns. Using the figures of Ibbotson, $1 invested in a broad index of U.S. common stocks on January 1, 1995 through December 31, 2005 would grow to more than $3.59. Few financial investments offer longer-term nature than IRA and no other financial asset could offer higher return over the long term than common stocks.
