ABSTRACT
The author discusses her husband's hobbies. The author's husband has many hobbies. He stored old motorcycles and slot cars. He adopted and collected parakeets in a gazebo. One day, he announced that he wanted to build a koi pond. The author was alarmed but nonetheless, supported her husband. She helped him build the pond and found it relaxing. The author was again surprised when he said he would take on a new hobby: reading. Reading is the author's one and only hobby.
