A boost for Lonza earnings

This article reports on the increased earnings that was posted by Lonza before interest, depreciation, tax and amortization (EBITDA) for 2006. Revenue increased by 15.6 percent to Swiss franc 2.9 billion, while net income increased by 18.1 percent. EBITDA for its polymer intermediates division, Polynt, fell 11.7 percent as exports were hit by the strong euro.
