ABSTRACT
The article reports on the plans of several chemical companies from India to invest in the state of Gujarat. Integrated chemical company Reliance Industries plans to create energy infrastructure. Reliance is already building a refinery in the state, but said it would also set up a polypropylene (PP) plant, and a coal and lignite gasification project. Gujarat Bhal Construction has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to set up a chemical park at Dholka in Ahmedabad.
