IPCL profits given major boost

The firm said that the operating profit increase was facilitated by robust sales growth and a slower-than-expected rise in expenditure. IPCL improved third quarter net sales by 9.14% to Rs30.56 billion, from Rs28 billion in 2005 third quarter.
