ABSTRACT
The article reports on the revision of the Code of Pharmaceutical Marketing Practices by the International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers & Associations (IFPMA). Under the new rule, IFPMA members will be required to implement stricter ethical requirements in promoting their products. Also included in the revised rule, which was enforced on January 2007, are clarified standards for promotional content and practices.
