ABSTRACT
The article reports on negotiations entered into by Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd. with Japanese and South Korean petrochemical manufacturers with regard to the sale of its majority equity stake in its proposed aromatics facility. According to a senior company official, up to 51 percent stake could be on offer for the unit to be built in Mangalore, India.
