ABSTRACT
This article states that Denmark's energy industry leaders have criticised the government's Energy 2025 strategy, which proposes significant measures to expand wind power generation in the country to meet 30 per cent of demand by 2025. Currently, it meets 18 per cent of demand. Prime Minister Anders Fogh Ramussen said that the government's overall vision is to make Denmark totally independent of fossil fuels in the long term and that a greater focus on wind power can achieve this goal.
