ABSTRACT
The article focuses on ultrawideband (UWB) technology. UWB has been used for decades in specialized applications but has struggled to enter commercial use largely because of disputes among UWB companies on its exact form. The first UWB products are mainly cable-replacement wireless universal serial bus dongles and hubs. Mobile phones may be incorporated with UWB in 2008 with the contract between Staccato Communications and SK Telecom.
