ABSTRACT
This article focuses on consistent maintenance schedules in optical laboratories. Toledo Optical Laboratory Inc. has reduced its lens breakage rate through the help of its regular maintenance program. According to optician Kari Hall of Professional Ophthalmic Laboratories Inc., calibration and maintenance on equipment go hand-in-hand. One of the challenges in implementing a consistent maintenance program is getting employees on board.
