The article reports on the appeal of Tim Yeo, chairman of the Environmental Select Committee to the travel agents and operators, to give the government feedback on carbon-offsetting schemes. According to him, he expected the committee to recommend the government creates a voluntary standard to which offsetting organizations could adhere.
