ABSTRACT
The article presents information on the change in number of students taking up engineering courses in Great Britain during the last five years. Students taking electronics and electrical engineering courses at university have declined by 16%. Manufacturing is the only other engineering discipline also in decline, with a reduction of nearly 35%. Overall the number of students in engineering and technology degree courses have increased by 12%.
