The article reports on a deal between Liaoning Huajin Chemical and Basell. Part of a boost to Huajin's petrochemicals complex in Liaoning, China, the company chose Basell's Spheripol technology for its polypropylene project. The expansion is set to include a high density polyethylene plant, a styrene monomer unit and an aromatics facility.
