ABSTRACT
The article reports that a Harper Adams land management student will be receiving a case of wine after winning the 2006 Farmers Weekly Land Tracker competition. The flood of entries ranged from 86,500 acres to 215,000 acres. Catherine Langrish estimated 162,837 acres, which was close to the final figure of 162,268 acres. Langrish predicted more land would come to the market in 2006 because sales had been held back due to the single farm payment.
